Meet The Team

Tony Dito

Tony is the compassionate founder of Hope for Health, driven by a lifelong dedication to emergency medical services. His impressive career has taken him from the front lines as a firefighter and paramedic with the Oakland Fire Department to leading medical teams in challenging environments, including West Africa and the San Mateo County COVID-19 Task Force.

Tony’s expertise extends to critical care, flight medicine, and corporate security, honed through roles with organizations such as Medilink International and Apple. His ongoing pursuit of knowledge as a Physician Assistant student exemplifies his commitment to providing the highest level of care. With a heart for service and a wealth of experience, Tony is uniquely equipped to lead Hope for Health’s mission of bringing medical aid to those in need.

Andrew Goodrum

Andrew is the co-founder of Hope For Health and a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for serving others. Andrew’s post-college journey led him to become an Advanced EMT with the Detroit Fire Department, where he played a crucial role in providing care to critically ill patients.

His commitment to healthcare extends beyond borders through volunteer work in Ghana, where he worked with disabled children, and in Peru, where he provided first aid to high school volunteers. Currently, Andrew is furthering his education in a Physician Assistant program, with graduation anticipated in December 2024.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Andrew finds solace and rejuvenation in the great outdoors. Whether it’s fishing, hiking, or exploring activities by the ocean, Andrew’s hobbies not only bring personal fulfillment but also deepen his connection to the natural world, which has been a source of inspiration throughout his life and continues to fuel his work and aspirations.

Sarah Padron

Meet Sarah, a dedicated registered nurse with a passion for promoting health and well-being. Originally from Texas, Sarah began her nursing journey in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. Since then, she has expanded her expertise by cross-training in Adult Intensive Care and gaining valuable experience in the Post Anesthesia Care unit.

For over five years, Sarah has been on a journey as a travel nurse, gaining insights and skills in rapid response nursing and clinical coordination across multiple states where she holds professional nursing licenses.

Sarah’s professional focus revolves around longevity and preventative wellness medicine, reflecting her unwavering commitment to fostering healthier communities.

Outside of her career, Sarah finds joy in motherhood, having recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl into her family with her husband, Rob. Together, they cherish spending quality time with loved ones, exploring the outdoors, staying active, and basking in the sunshine at the beach.

Jennifer Cooper

Jennifer, MSN, AGACNP-BC, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with expertise in surgical first assisting, medical weight management, and healthcare administration. Holding licensure across multiple states, Jennifer delivers comprehensive virtual care services to patients nationwide. With a distinguished six-year tenure in the United States Army, she is honored as a combat veteran, having been awarded the Combat Action Badge and Army Commendation Medal for her exemplary service.

Beyond her professional commitments, Jennifer is an avid advocate for wellness and an active member of her community. In her leisure time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband, Jarrod, their teenager, Jayce, and their beloved miniature Australian Shepherd, Sprocket.

Lon Justice

Lon is a highly accomplished business professional with a 38-year career at Agilent Technologies. Beginning in sales, Lon consistently excelled in roles of increasing responsibility, eventually leading the company’s worldwide sales and marketing efforts. His ability to drive growth, build strong relationships, and lead high-performing teams made him an invaluable asset throughout his tenure. Lon’s dedication to excellence and strategic vision played a pivotal role in the success of the organizations he served.

Beyond his professional achievements, Lon holds an MBA from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ashland University. His passion for giving back and wealth of knowledge make him a valued contributor to both his professional and personal communities.

Adam Peterson

Adam is a dedicated Communications Director and IT professional, passionate about using his skills to support meaningful causes. Hailing from rural Utah, Adam’s roots instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for community. His diverse experience spans a wide range of organizations, from the Open Society Foundations championing trans rights, to 100Kin10 inspiring STEM education, and Illuminate enhancing San Francisco’s Bay Bridge with the iconic Bay Lights.

Adam’s commitment to social impact is evident in his involvement with Fair Trade Universities and numerous other initiatives. His expertise in communications and IT, combined with his genuine passion for making a difference, makes him an invaluable asset in advancing the mission of medical missions in Africa.
